General Rules and Regulations
1. Students are to abide by
the rules and regulation of the school.
2.
All students must converse in ENGLISH during the
school hours. Failing to do so might invoke corrective measures.
3.
The school is insistent on discipline, punctuality,
regularity in attendance, obedience and submission to teachers, courteousness
in dealings towards teachers and fellow students, adhering to the dress code,
diligence and seriousness in doing class-work, home-work, and assignments.
4. All students should be
present in school on the opening day of of each term.
5.
Irregular attendance, unjustified absence or
objectionable moral behaviour justify dismissal. If a student is absent for
fifteen consecutive days without an application, or for three days at the
beginning of a term, his/her name may be struck off the rolls. Every absence
has to be intimated to the Principal immediately with an application duly
signed by the Parent.
6.
No student who has been absent from school or is
late will be admitted into class without the signed permission of the
Principal.
7.
All students are expected to line up in silence
for the assembly at the sound of the first bell. After the assembly they should
disperse in silence to their classes.
8.
No books other than required text books, may be
brought to school. No student should bring to the school any objectionable
articles, electronic goods such as camera, tape recorder, knives, weapons,
crackers, mobile, explosives etc. The offenders are liable to be dismissed or
rusticated from the school.
9.
No student should leave the school premises
during class hours without the knowledge and permission of the Principal.
10.
Any damage to school property will have to be
made good. The decision of the Principal regarding the amount is final.
11.
The school is not responsible for goods lost.
Students should not carry or wear valuable articles including rings and fancy
watches when coming to school. Students are liable to serious disciplinary
action for stealing or damaging the articles of others.
12.
No student suffering from a contagious or
infectious disease will be permitted to attend school. After recovery a fitness
certificate is to be submitted.
13.
During school hours, students are not allowed to
receive visitors or make phone calls or to answer a phone call. If the matter
is very urgent, the message will be given.
14.
Any student desiring to be exempted from P.T. or
games must produce a doctor's certificate to the effect that he/she is
physically unfit to take part.
15.
All students should be habitually clean and always
neatly dressed. They are expected to come in uniform every day.
16.
Students must come to class with the lessons
well prepared and the home work completed.
17. The school diary should
be brought to the school daily.
18. Running, playing and
shouting inside the school building is never allowed.
19.
When students move along verandahs to other
classrooms, they must walk in silence and in single line. They should always
keep to the left as far as possible.
20.
Students should be particularly careful not to
throw paper or fruit peels anywhere in the school premises. They should use the
bins provided for that purpose.
21.
No student should remain in the classroom during
P.T. Or games period unless permitted by the Principal.
22.
Students are responsible to the school
authorities not only for their conduct in school but also for their general behavior
outside. Any reported or observed objectionable conduct out of school shall
make them liable to disciplinary action.
23. Students are not allowed
to enter a classroom other than their own.
24. Articles found in school
or on its premises are to be handed over to the office.
25.
Students should avoid writing, carving and
scratching on the walls and furniture.
26.
Principal Permission is required:
To make
a collection for any purpose whatever.
To arrange
for a party, picnic or meeting.
27.
Students are responsible and answerable for
their conduct in and outside the school campus to the school administration.
Any misbehavior and ill-mannered acts in public places will invoke stringent
disciplinary actions.
Smoking,
chewing pan masala, using chewing gums and similar unhealthy practices are
strictly discouraged in and outside the school
29.
Student are expected to exhibit positive behaviors
towards teachers, which are acceptable within the sensible limits of student-teacher
relationship.
30.
Hanging around, wandering, loitering, joining
illegal crowds, teasing others, on the way to school or while returning home
are strictly forbidden.
31.
Students must realize that they are judged by
their behavior and conduct and they are expected to behave in the manner, which
brings respect to them. Strict disciplinary actions will be taken against
offenders who cause damage to the school property. The parents will have to
bear the cost of damaged property and their cooperation is expected in this
regard. Vandalizing school property will invoke stringent disciplinary action,
which may lead to dismissal of the student.
32.
Ragging as well as eve teasing is strictly
prohibited; stringent disciplinary measures will be taken against anyone who is
guilty of these illegal practices.
33.
Students are not allowed to entertain parents
and guardians inside the campus without the prior permission of the Principal.
34.
In the case of senior students (boys), long
hairs, hands in pockets, standing, moving or sitting in an ungainly slouching
and drooping fashion, and unshaven face, are strictly discouraged.
35.
Students are expected to behave properly not
only in the presence of teachers but also in the absence of teachers in the
classrooms. They must obey their monitor or prefect appointed to maintain order
and discipline.
36.
Students who are availing bus facilities are
expected to maintain discipline inside the bus .Any barbaric activities like
shouting, standing in the foot board, fighting with fellow students, damaging
the seats or any other accessories will be liable for termination from the bus
facility and further from school.
37.
To master the art of teaching develop learning,
smart skills of pupil's classes are introduced.
No students are expected to operate or even touch the smart board.
Students
are liable to serious disciplinary action for stealing or damaging such
articles.

responsibility given, and to face difficulties with courage and determination.

playground with opposing teams and with the officials.

To wish your parents, teachers, elders whenever you meet them.
•
To respect your own property as well as of
school and also property belonging to others.
•
To be bold enough to say 'No' when asked to do a
thing. Which you know to be wrong.
To Our Dear Parents
•
The very first condition of admission is that
parents/guardians will comply strictly with the terms and rules herein stated
and pay by the due date the tuition fees and all other charges.
•
Parents are requested to enforce regularity and
discipline. They will kindly see that their children daily prepare their
Lessons.
•
Politeness, courtesy of speech and conduct,
cleanliness in dress and person should be inculcated.
•
Leave for absence may be granted for a
sufficient reason. But only on an application from the parent or guardian. This
must be made in advance whenever possible. Absence and leave record sheet given
at the end of this diary must be made use of Any communication (request or
complaint) made by a parent should be addressed to the Principal and not to the
class teacher. When thus communicating with the Principal, parents are
requested to mention in their letter the name and The class with section of
their child.

No visitors (parents or others) are allowed to
see the students or interview their teachers during class hours.
•
Parents are also requested not to visit classes
during class hours. All business will be transacted in the office.
•
Parents and guardians are required to sign all
the reports and to see that their children observe all the rules of the school.
•
Parents must realize that the Parents-Teachers
meetings are Very important and they should attend regularly.
•
Students must not keep much cash with them when they come to school.
•
Small children should not be entrusted with payment of fees.
•
We welcome constructive criticism, we feel happy
when parents take interest in the welfare of the institution and give feedback
for improvement.
Examination and Promotion
•
Examinations and tests enable parents to know
the progress of their children and pay due attention to their studies at home.
•
Promotion to the next class will be made on the
basis of the average of marks obtained in, Half-Yearly and Annual.
•
The pass mark for each subject is 40%.
•
For promotion, a student must obtain pass percentage in all the
subjects.
•
A student who fails twice in the same class will be asked to leave the
school.
•
Attendance in all papers, in Half-Yearly and
Annual is compulsory in view of rank in the Examination.
•
Answer books of the examinations are shown. The
result declared at the end of the year is final and not subject to
reconsideration.
•
The decision of the school authorities on
results shall be final and in no case shall lie in any court of law in respect
of their decision.
The
interpretation of any rule of the school as well as any amendments of it rests
solely
and entirely with the Governing body of the school. This shall be final and
binding
on parents/guardians and in no case shall lie in any court of law in respect
of
their decision.
